Kelly first came to us to get a shoot done as a graduation gift to herself. She later ended up publishing an article about her experience with us in Kelly Mental Health Magazine!

"I chose to get a boudoir shoot done as a graduation gift to myself, and as a way to build up my self-confidence. Ever since I was sexually assaulted, it has been hard for me to be comfortable and confident in my body. I had followed some of Dev’s work and really liked what they did. I decided to set up a consultation with her to discuss the specifics of a shoot. 

The consultation process gave me a chance to meet Dev and get to know them before getting naked in front of them. We were able to go over all the paperwork so that the day of my shoot we could focus on that. They walked me through the different packages I could purchase and included me in the creative process by asking if I had any specific ideas for what I wanted. They were able to book both the consultation and the photo shoot in a very timely manner, so I didn’t have to wait too long. 

Before the photo shoot, I felt very unprepared. I wanted more time to workout and lose weight. I also wasn’t sure how to pose and make it look sexy (especially with my face). However, I’m glad I did the photo shoot how I look now so that I can show myself that I don’t have to lose weight to look sexy!

The day of the photoshoot I got my hair and makeup done professionally while we got to know each other more. I felt like a goddess! If you can afford it, I would definitely recommend getting your hair and/or makeup done because it makes you look and feel amazing! Also helps put you in the “sexy” mindset. While some of the poses can be uncomfortable, they look amazing for the camera! They are excellent at giving you suggestions on how to pose, and what will look good for the camera. I was able to wear what outfits I wanted, and even had them take some pictures with my cowboy boots on. While I’m usually not a shy person when it comes to showing my body, getting to know them helped me feel more relaxed and comfortable during the shoot. I was very comfortable taking nude pictures, and they turned out fantastic! They were very encouraging throughout the shoot, and always was telling me how good I looked. They would even stop and show me some of the pictures on their camera and I was in awe! They looked amazing! Having that positive feedback helped relax me more and not worry so much about trying to be sexy.

After my shoot, I felt very sexy and confident. When I received my photo gallery, I was blown away by how good I looked! It was hard to narrow down what images I wanted! My friends, boyfriend, and even mother all loved the pictures! I also did not have to wait long after my shoot to be able to see my pictures. They had them edited and sent to me very quickly!

Overall my experience was amazing! My confidence was boosted, and I fell in love with my body again. My boyfriend was also a huge fan of the pictures. Thank you so much, Dev, for giving me back my confidence and helping me to show off my inner goddess!"
