Help! I want to BOOK A SESSION but I'm so lost and nervous!?

How much will I be INVESTING for a session?

What is a pre-session CONSULTATION? Why is it important?
The pre-session consultation is where we'll meet up at a local coffee shop for some coffee and a chat, a few weeks prior to your desired photo shoot date to talk about your upcoming session! We'll go through some contracts and questionnaires. We'll talk about your comfort level and what YOU wish to get out of your session. We'll go through our suggested checklist of what to do before your session and what to bring for the big day. We'll also take a few minutes to look at some samples of additional products that are available for purchase after your session. Finally, I'll do my best to answer any other questions you may have left, confirm your session date, then we'll finish our coffees and be on our way!
WHERE will my session take place?
We currently shoot out of an in-home studio, located in the Port Arthur side of Thunder Bay, ON. The exact address will be provided during your consultation! We can also discuss other locations such as an in-home or outdoors session.
WHAT DO I BRING to my consultation and my photo shoot?
For your consultation, the only thing you need to bring is yourself. We also recommend bringing your phone or another device on which you can access your email to make signing online contracts easiest! We'll discuss what to bring to your session during your consultation.
I'm so awkward! How do make your clients COMFORTABLE?
There's a lot involved in that; the first thing is doing the consultation so we get to know each other a little better and then we're not meeting for the first time at your shoot. It makes things a little comfortable when I'm not a complete stranger. Only a partial stranger!
If you get makeup done, that's another chance for us to chat and get comfortable.

I see you post a lot of images ONLINE, are you going to SHARE mine too?
We understand that a boudoir shoot can be a very intimate experience that you may prefer to keep private. Whether it be because of your job or your comfort level, YOU are in charge of how much is shared on social media. We'll discuss this in more detail during your consultation and revisit it again after your session. We will NEVER post anything online that you are not 100% comfortable with being shared.
I don't really have any sexy LINGERIE for a shoot, should I go BUY some?
We'll talk specifics about lingerie and outfits for your session during your consultation. Keep in mind, it's not about super sexy lingerie. Your boudoir session is about YOU. Less is more. The best images from a session are free of distractions and are solely focused on you being you, in your natural state.
Can I BRING my child/friend/significant other to my session?
Typically our rule is client's ONLY in the studio during your shoot. Please do not bring children, friends or significant others with you to your session as they tend to distract from the real purpose of the experience. This session is about YOU!

How do I get my IMAGES after my session?
A week or so after your session, you'll come back to the studio for the big REVEAL; an afternoon dedicated to swooning over your images and deciding on the best way to preserve your memories.
What other PRODUCTS can I buy from my session?
We have a large variety of print products to choose from after your session. We offer photo albums, prints of all sizes, canvases, metal prints and other wall art. We'll go through some samples and pricing of these products during your consultation.
